ACCESS AND FACILITIES
LIMITED ACCESS
There is easy access for people who use walking sticks or frames as we are situated on the ground floor at courtyard level.
Unfortunately, access for wide pushchairs, mobility scooters or wheelchairs is problematic. Access into reception is manageable, but the internal door from reception to clinic room is VERY narrow and cannot be altered. The clinic is best suited to ambulatory wheelchair users.
Due to the historic nature of the area there are some issues with uneven surfaces. The passageway from New Street into the courtyard comprises large cobble slabs with some uneven edges. Part of the walkway through the courtyard comprises smaller cobbled paving with uneven areas.
NO TOILET FACILITIES
There is no toilet facility available in the clinic. The nearest toilet facilities are in the Old George Mall, in Marks and Spencer’s, at Elizabeth Gardens or at many of the shops or cafes in the town.
